The Challenge
In the summer of 2020, ZIAlearning began working with Cobb County K-12 Schools to provide intense, district-level services and professional development to teachers for remote and hybrid learning.
Our Work
As schools began to reopen, Zia worked with Cobb County district leaders to develop a Shared Synchronous Instruction model (SSI). Shared Synchronous Instruction leverages an instructional rotation model and gives the teachers a clear framework to provide engaging options while meeting the challenge of teaching to two simultaneous environments.
The Result
This innovative approach ensured that teachers were able to meet the needs of all learners, in both remote and face-to-face environments.
